Accessibility Statement

The InclusiVRity consortium is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities and neurodivergent users. This commitment reflects the purpose of the project itself: supporting secondary-school teachers to create more inclusive learning environments for neurodiverse students.

This statement applies to inclusivrity.eu and all of its language versions (English, Greek, French, Italian and Spanish).

Conformance status

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: most of the content conforms, but the parts listed under “Known limitations” do not yet fully conform.

Accessibility features

The website currently provides the following:

  • a “Skip to content” link at the top of every page;
  • full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator on links, menus and buttons;
  • text alternatives for meaningful images, including all partner logos;
  • a logical heading structure, with one main heading per page;
  • the language of each page declared, so that screen readers use the correct pronunciation;
  • text and button colours that meet the WCAG minimum contrast ratio;
  • a responsive layout that adapts to mobile devices and narrow screens without horizontal scrolling;
  • a contact form with visible labels and support for browser autofill.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following issues and are working to resolve them:

  • Guidebook PDF: the Guidebook on the Pedagogical Applicability of VR for Neurodiverse Students is currently available as an untagged PDF, displayed in a flipbook viewer. Screen-reader users may not be able to read it in the correct order. We are preparing an accessible, tagged version with a direct download link.
  • Newsletters and flyer: the newsletters and flyer on the News & Events page are embedded from Canva and do not yet have a text alternative.
  • Infographics in blog posts: some infographics, such as the one in “Why Virtual Reality Matters in Learning”, do not yet have a full text description of their content.

If you need any of this content in an alternative format, please contact us (see “Feedback and contact” below) and we will provide it.

Third-party content

Some content on this website comes from third-party services that we do not fully control, such as embedded Canva designs and links to external publishers. We choose accessible options where available.

Feedback and contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter a barrier, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us through our contact form.

We aim to respond within 10 working days.
